My
pet is a cat. She is a Maine Coon and is called Dezba. Dezba is a Native
American Indian name and means "goes to war," but she is a really sweetheart,
affectionate and attached to me and my family. Dezba follows us all around
the house and loves to be with us. She is very gentle and never scratches us.
She is a house cat, but her days are full of fun, curiosity and adventures
together with her lovely sister Dyani. Dezba is special, because she opens
doors, especially if you don't lock them.
When you take her in your arms, she puts her paws round your neck and licks
your face and nibbles at your lobe of the ear. Sometimes - if you allow it -
she also licks your hair for minutes, so that you have to wash it afterwards.
If you want to leave the house or go on holiday - and she always knows that -
she sits down on your shoes or even sits in your suitcase. When you throw a
little paper ball, she sometimes retrieves it.
I love Dezba a lot. And she gives it all back to me.
