Introducing
Devon Blue LeChat. Devon is a very runcible cat. He was a rescue
cat. I got him when he was just a year old. He has a stubby little tail
(about 3" long - 7.6 cm) as a result of his mother accidentally chew part of it off
thinking his tail was his umbilical cord when he was young. He is the
friendliest cat you will ever be lucky enough to meet. He insists on sleeping
right next to me at night, preferably with his paw stretched out in the palm
of my hand.
He purrs day and night ... he is the happiest cat I've ever known (and I have
known many). He was once described by my friend's four-year-old daughter as "the
softest cat she had ever met". He loves his "crazy mouse", which is a spotted
eared mouse toy stuffed with catnip. He must roll over the crazy mouse
continually until he feels it has had enough.
Devon Blue is the greatest. He really doesn't act a day over four years old
either. He has a basket that he loves on the top of an 8' (2.4 m) foot entertainment
cabinet. He jumps up and down it like it was nothing. He loves the basket
being way up there. As he got older, I was worried about him jumping down so
far, so I built him some shelves that he could use to go up and down. To this
day, sometimes he uses them, sometimes he doesn't. My boy! Please enjoy his
