Aurora's
a bit of an anxious girl who likes her space, which I can relate
with. She is a daddy's girl, follows my husband around the house. She loves
tuna (especially the juice), lettuce and cheese. She's very pretty and has
her sweet moments.
We've had her since a few months after we started dating. She was an absolute
terror when we first took her home. She used to lunge at my now husband for
no reason and attack him. We decided to bring home a friend for her which is
how Pilot came into our lives. People don't tend to like her because she's
not very friendly but they are drawn to her because she is so beautiful. The
only person who knows how to handle her is my husband, she adores him.
Sometimes when I get up in the morning she runs into the bedroom to take my
spot next to my husband. She was named after the Foo Fighter's song Aurora "I
just kinda died for you, you just kinda stared at me," which was playing in
the car when we went to find a cat. Aurora is the epitomy of an independent
cat, she loves to be left alone for hours and hours. She has brief moments of
sweetness but you never know when they will come.
She adores all food but as I mentioned, is oddly crazy for lettuce, she'll
actually beg for it. Her other favorites are tuna juice (when my husband
squeezes out the juice from a can of tuna he always gives it to her) and she
loves to eat cheeze with my husband when he sits down with a block of cheese
she sits next to him and he gives her little pieces. Oh and she also likes to
lick the top of my husband's head, she actually tried to lick my head once
but choked on my hair instead. She loves outside but usually just sits on the
steps in the front and suntans. She used to have this trick where she would
play fetch with straws and hair elastics. She still runs after them but
doesn't bring them back anymore. We've had her the longest, I can't imagine
my husband and I without her.
