oki is the first Turkish Van mix cat I've owned. Turkish Vans have
always been my favourite breed, and when I found out for sure that
Poki is part Turkish Van, I was super happy.
We got her from the pound, and people kept mistaking her for a
boy, because she doesn't look very feminine and her name was
Slippery. We changed that immediately!
She's the most clumsy cat I know, and she loves water (that's what made
me think she might be a Turkish Van). The cat I was looking for at the
pound had been taken, and I decided to choose Poki instead because she
was sitting on her own. It's the best decision I've ever made.
Poki is very independent. She's not very affectionate, but she is
very playful and hilarious. And we love her!
