This is
Pemon, he's 9 years old, black and white tuxedo. He is a big boy, about 13 pounds. I chose him because of his hood and cape markings, and his personality.
The first time I went to see the litter of kittens, he came up to me right away while the other kittens played with each other. It turned out he was the only one with short hair.
I picked him up on a Friday so I could spend the weekend with him. He was very shy with Crista, my 2-year-old at the time girl cat It didn't take long for him to decide Crista was loads of fun to play with. One day they were playing and chasing, when Crista stopped he ran into her side and she flopped down, looked around like, "What just happened?" He was only three or four months old at the time.
A friend of mine, Emma, will house- and cat-sit while I'm out of town. She says Pemon will check her out by looking around the edge of the doorway. He wants to know what's going on, but is very shy with people he doesn't know. Every once in a while he will come out while someone is here. It always makes me happy because I want him to meet other people. When I bring him to the vet they always comment on how good he is. He will allow them to do anything with him. Of course Pemon loves boxes. It makes no difference to him the size of the box. He has to sit in it. Or take a nap in it.
