This is my furry little princess, Lily. We say she is part lynx ... she was a rescue when she was about 3 to 4 weeks old.
I got her at a local shelter, when my cat of 20 years, Tiffany died. Being the runt of her litter, she was born very little and very sick. A
n appointment had been made to put her down, but I could not have that. Doing much pleading and begging, I finally brought her home
but not before taking her to the vet to take care of her. At around that time I had to have chemo treatments for seven months.
Every single time I had to treatment, my little Furry princess would not leave my side. I guess you could say she rescued me too, because I was completely broken-hearted over Tiffany's death.
Being with Lily has taught me very many things. And I thank God every day that I found her. You see, she wasn't one of the crawling kittens that are pulling at you for your attention. She was actually hidden in the corner underneath the newspaper in the cage. Needless to say, I was very very touched. I picked up this crawling little kitten with a tear stained face that could barely breathe, because she had been born with respiratory infections among other things.
Now as you can see she is very happy and healthy, and has been taught many tricks including how to play peek-a-boo! She has her own page on Facebook page, called Miss Lily's Diaries. This, you guys, is my little Lily. I love you Miss Lily!
