Introducing Neeko, a gorgeous little boy who came to live with his new Mom and sister, Meea recently from a foster home where he was born. We met him one Thursday morning at my sister's house (bless her for letting us use her house as a meet and greet) and now he is here in his furever home in Webster.
Meea came to me on Christmas Eve last year after my 13-year-old cat, Bella, passed in the middle of the night earlier that week. She is predominately Siamese and is VERY active. Although we bonded right away, I knew she needed a playmate. I spent quite a lot of time and effort to find the right fit for her and Neeko was it!! He is such a love and just wanted someone to play with. When he arriived home, they fell in love on sight and they have become best buddies. At 4am the second day they were chasing and playing at full speed.
Meea always likes to lay in the window perches and loves to drink from the bathroom faucet even though she has a $60 water bowl that constantly moves the water. Imagine her consternation finding him laying in the sink! She is so sweet, though, and simply waits for him to leave. It is unbelievable how well they got along just 48 hours after meeting. They do everything together now and he adores her and imitates her every move, including the naughty moves!
Meea likes to lay on my lap when tired, but does not cuddle. Neeko cuddles so much that he almost suffocates me, but I'm not complaining. I have always had cats and they are my heart and soul, my fur covered children. All of my "rescue" kitties, truth be known, rescued me as well.
