Racket was a neighborhood stray that we watched go from house to house for food and water. We used to say "what a racket that cat has," hence the name Racket! One chilly November evening we found her huddled next to our front door when we opened it. Racket immediately came inside and from that moment became part of our family!
At first Racket was very aloof but as time has passed, she has become very affectionate and seeks our attention when she feels like it. She isn't and probably will never be a "lap" cat. Her favorite thing to do is drink out of faucets, whether it be the bathtub or the kitchen sink. She comes away with her face and her head soaking wet! Racket is consistently very vocal with a wide range of meow sounds and tones. We love her!
