Luna is a rescue cat. Someone had abandoned her during winter, and the tips of her ears had been frost-bitten so they clipped her ears. But now she lives in a good home with a loving family. She is very affectionate and loves strings.
In fact, Luna always wants to play with strings especially when you're busy with work. She gets very depressed if I leave her for too long, and always waits by the door for me to come back. She is an amazing cat.
Luna is very chatty to the point where sometimes she won't be quiet. We've had her for about three years now and she's been doing well. When we first got her we shaved her because of how badly she was shedding. She didn't really mind in the summer, just in the winter she was a bit chilly so she would burrow under blankets to stay warm at night. Oh, when she's really hungry you can tell because she'll look for plants or plastic bags to nibble on.
Sadly, Luna is declawed. We didn't declaw her, her old owners who threw her out did - and whatever doctor declawed her butchered her little paws. They took out too much of the claw it looks and feels like they took half of the second bone joint out. But she doesn't seem to notice it. She also wheezes, we think it's because, when you compare her nose to another cats, it's slightly more pushed in than a normal cats.
But we love her all the same no matter what she looks like, or how silly she is, or annoying she can be at times. She's our pet and we love her.
