Alex is a gentle and sassy boy. He helps me relax at the end of the day with a shoulder massage! He loves to sit on my lap whenever I sit down and lays on my lap while I read the Sunday paper. He enjoys playing with his brother Toby and sister Zoey.
We decided to adopt at the local animal shelter in 2005 after the loss of our cat Max. When we first met Alex he licked my husband's ear, so I guess he picked us! Later we learned he was adopted and returned by the owner as he did not fit into her household. Alex is our first Maine Coon. He acts like a dog in a cat's body by running to greet me when I get home. He has a high pitched meow when he wants something and he is attracted to water, which is typical of his breed. We love him so much!
