Little-Bit was picked up at the age of three months at a gas station in a nearby town. The couple that picked her up brought her back to the RV Park here in Heppner. When Little-Bit turned six months old, she got pregnant. After that litter of kittens was weaned, the people turned them all out.
I have been feeding homeless cats for a while and it wasn't long before Little-Bit showed up. I could not take her in because the older cat that lived with me at the time did not tolerate other critters in her domain. Since I had no way to keep Little-Bit, it wasn't long until she got pregnant again. Shortly afterward, my older cat had to be put down because her medical condition got so bad that she gave up and quit eating and she had to be put down. Then we had to wait for Little-Bit's second litter t be weaned before we could take her in. At 7 weeks after having the kittens, I brought her in, took her to the vet to be spayed, wormed, and get her shots.
Little-Bit is by nature a very sweet cat but somewhat intolerant of the little rescue kitten staying here.
The trash can picture requires an explanation. Little-Bit is the most efficient plate cleaner I have ever seen. She is so good at it that I fear that she might lick the glaze off the plates. She also likes to clean the cat food cans. That is what she is doing in the trash can. I threw away a freshly emptied can without letting her clean it first. So, she is TCB.
