My cat's name is Buca and he is twelve. We live on the North Shore in Massachusetts, Peabody. He acts more like a dog than a cat. He sits on the keyboard whenever I'm trying to type, he's even learned to touch me with his paw when he wants something. Sometimes I wake up to him gently pawing my face because he's hungry. Buca has learned to open doors with his paws and he loves to get filthy rolling in the dirt and mulch. He's the most vocal cat ever, anyone that talks to him he responds in meow like he's talking all the time.
He was rescued from a dumpster as a kitten but we think he is ragdoll and Maine Coon from the thick fur, vocalization and looks. Buca's most amazing quality is that he seems to be able to tell when someone is sad or depressed and he will spend time with you and distract you until you feel better. If my sister has a bad day somehow he knows and sleeps with her instead of his normal spot on the couch next to the window.
My cat has helped to hold my household together and brings smiles to all of our faces every day!
