Emma-Jane is such a sweet princess! We knew she was meant for us when we picked her out because she was jumping and swatting at all her brothers and sisters when she was only a few weeks old! Her fur is absolutely gorgeous, shiny and soft and oh so pretty. She is a very feminine girl with a little bit of sass. When we got our second cat Weasley, Emma-Jane was a big bully who loved to play and romp around with her new little brother. Now that he has outgrown her, it's the other way around. Since she has gotten a little older she has gotten shy and likes her alone time, but as soon as we come up for bed she thinks it is time to play. She loves to sit with us in the bed and cuddle for hours and hours! Emma-Jane has a very peculiar meow when she is happy; I always say it sounds a bit like the sound on Family Feud after the host says "Survey Says!"
She is so unique and loveable, and very particular about the way she thinks things ought to be. One of her favorite things to do is lay on warm clothes after they come out of the drier, which doesn't help me much with the laundry! Sitting on her window perch and looking out the window is her favorite thing to do, you can tell she is wondering about the big ol' world outside our little house.
Jumping has always been Emma's talent, at a young age we used to play with her using a kitty size fishing pole with a feather on the end and she could jump several feet in the air and even do flips. It's so fun to watch. She and her two brothers (Weasley and McLovin) love to cuddle together on the bed upstairs, they put on a good cover but there is no mistaking they love each other very much. They fight like any other brothers and sisters, tumbling around on the carpet and running up and down the staircase in the wee hours of the morning! She is always so happy to see us, I don't know if I could ever imagine my life without that sweet purr and those big yellow eyes. We love you Emmy J!
