Ozzy has a Groucho Marx mustache and crazy Albert-Einstein-after-a-nap eyebrow whiskers! He isn't any larger than any other cat but has the longest whiskers, quite dramatic in fact. Just a baby who loves to eat!! Such a funny boy who lives to eat! When I get home, he is so friendly and is all over me purring and headbumping. This is all an act to let me know he is ready for dinner! When I put his food down, I give him a little pat on his sides and can feel him purring like crazy! When he is not eating, he is looking mournfully at his empty dish and sometimes I catch him dreaming and going "nom nom nom" in his sleep! He is also the President of the Kitties Clean Plate Club and always checks his brother-from-another-mother Forrest's plate to make sure he doesn’t miss any little bit that might be left!
At the first sounds in the morning he is up and hollering, telling us all how hungry he is!!! It has been maybe 8 whole hours since his last snack. The other evening he jumped a couple of feet straight up in the air to clap his paws together to catch an unlucky moth that had blundered into the house…… mmmmm tasty!
He will play with the feather on a string but much prefers to roll around on his back and having it dragged across his tummy and toes to catch it. He enjoys an afternoon snoozing flat on his back in the sun and loves a good tummy rub too! But if someone comes visiting he dives behind the couch, the Instant Invisible Cat. Ever the sun worshipper, the second photo is, in fact, the late afternoon sun leaving a trace shadow of the screen on his nose and eye. We love him in all his uniqueness.
