I found Tera in a cage by the front desk at a local pet shelter. She was quarantined due to an upper respiratory infection that she was being treated for. I read up on the illness and then I went back 2 days later and brought her home. They let me take her because she wasn't getting better and we all hoped a change would do her good. That was more than a year ago and I am sorry to write that she never did completely get over it. My local Veterinarian has been as helpful as she can with potential treatments. She is a sneezy cat but we love her! Just wish I could train her to use a tissue.
She is on the quiet side for a kitten. I don't think she gets enough air when she is congested to run around much, but she has occasional short bursts of energy. She is not a lap cat but will always cuddle right next to us when we sit down. Right now she is at my feet. She gives great nose kisses, but you better watch out for the sneeze! She greets people when they come to the house and she is great friends with a chichuahua that comes to visit us. She loves to play with the rings that come off of milk and water jugs. She traveled over 7,000 miles with us in our RV last summer and evacuated to Alabama with us before Hurricane Irma struck Florida last year. She was happy to be back home in Florida where she spends a lot of time out on the screened-in lanai.
