Sina is my blue tortoiseshell Persian girl. I found her at the SPA (Society for the Protection of Animals) of Torreilles Refuge "The Garden of the Padrine" on June 18. She is of unknown origin since she was brought to this shelter by the pound, which is very curious because she was obviously a purebred cat and was not spayed, thus was able to reproduce. Might she have escaped from a breeding situation? We will never know because shehas not been claimed by anyone. After her sterilization she was offered for adoption, and that's how we ended up together - three cats and a man!
Not at all shy, Sina immediately settled in the apartment. She is very nice but independent natured, she spends a lot of time alone. Of small stature, like the great majority of her Persian relatives, she is of a calm and poised temperament. In the photos she is still slightly shaggy because every morning I have to put ointment in her ears, an operation to which she obediently submits but it makes her ears all sticky. She feeds exclusively on kibble, refusing treats and dumplings of all brands or flavors. I love my three cats each in their own way but with equal intensity - Sina as much as the others.
