This is Ruby, she's a street-born British Red Classic Tabby Shorthair (long discription, eh?). She's, I think, about seven years old now. A lady never tells, though.
Ruby was once a wary, streetiwise cat, but now, after a lot of hard work (and a lot of injuries), I've managed to tame her and she now lives with us in our house and yard. As you can see, she's still very fond of our garden and loves to play amidst all of our plants. She's almost a supernatural being when it comes to catching insects and small animals (not to mention feet and toes). There are just too much about her that's special and magical that I can't even begin to choose. I guess the fact that she comes up with a reason for me to love her even more every day is one special quality that sticks out. And the fact that I now have a "house tiger" of my very own.
