Buddy is 16 pounds (7.25kg) of pure love! I got him as a very tiny baby and from the beginning, he was a snuggle Bud. He now sits on my lap at least three times a day for cuddles. His nicknames are Budderbutt, Vicious Buddilicious, and Mr. Buddles. He's my best buddy for sure.
I found him at a local rescue after the fifth of my five past cats had passed from cancer. Buddy was one of five in a litter from a feral mother. All kitties looked different and he was one of the smallest. I had wanted another orange cat like the one who had passed six months earlier, but little "Courage," as he was named, crawled up onto my shoulder, laid down, and purred. He picked me.
Buddy has always been very inquisitive, so I started taking him outside on a leash at an early age. He loves chasing squirrels, watching birds, and stalking rabbits. Buddy enjoys people attention very much, getting lots of love from his senior neighbors in the apartment complex where we currently live. He's also a traveler. We've spent time in Florida where he's loved watching ducks and native birds, plus looking for little lizards and even climbing up palm trees!
His favorite toy is the laser beam and he loves hiding in and running through tunnels. Plus, he loves chasing his "sister," Pearl. He's also the biggest snuggler, whether it be on a chair, blanket, or in one of his beds.
I don't have any kids or significant other, so he's the love of my life!
