This is Elizabeth. She was approximately three years old, and lived in Vermont. Elizabeth was a beautiful cat with some of the softest fur around. She would follow me almost everywhere and run around outside. She would just flop in our driveway and the neighbors kids would walk by and pet her. She even loved our dog, and would follow him around the house. She had the loudest purr, too, and was just such a great companion. She would jump into our cars- willingly - and enjoyed the ride. She would even follow the dog as we walked him, which unfortunately lead to her much too soon death of being hit by a car. She was a very special cat, and will live in our hearts forever.
Also, here's a fun fact about her: she chose her name. When we were driving her to the vet for the first time (she was actually a stray or feral cat, she was found by the person who taught me horseback riding) mom and I were coming up with names for her, and when I said ‘Elizabeth' she meowed. I said it again, and she meowed. That is how she got her name.
We will always remember her, and miss her very much.
