This is Lewis. He is a senior citizen at twelve but going strong. He is a tabby I adopted from the animal shelter twelve years ago when I lived in Miami.
We live in Savannah, Georgia now. Lewis is very vocal and talks a lot. He's a cross-patch, no doubt about it. Somehow he just ended-up being the right cat for our family and after twelve years he has been through it all with my husband and I. We find him the perfect and loyal companion. He's seen us get married, gone through my pregnancy and the birth of our daughter with us, we have moved three3 times. He spent one year with us on Sabbatical in Washington D.C. He weathers it all and never complains.
We got a new cat when we moved most recently, his name is Dale and he and Lewis are best friends forever! Lewis ,as crabby as he is, just loves Dale. They do everything together and usually have a morning and evening chase. Here is a picture of how they like to spend their days. It's especially well done - I love this picture because Lewis is napping with our Christmas Grinch and that's kind of how he is - a Grinch. We love him!
