This is Baby Jack. He's a Persian, and his coloring is called Golden Chinchilla. This was taken when he still had his winter coat in February. It is always amazingly fluffy and thick. I brought him here from Japan when he was about four years old. We live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and he adores the sunshine, and padding about the garden on nice days - and they are almost all nice days. He has gotten progressively more affectionate and now really loves to make biscuits on my armpits while I'm trying to go to sleep.
His nickname is BJ, and though he is obviously not a baby any more, he will still always be Baby Jack to me. He also has a little tiny voice, so still sounds like a baby cat, too. I love him very much.
