This beautiful cat's name is Afton. We got her from the Humane Association when she was about a year and a half old. We weren't quite sure which cat we wanted, but she showed us by constantly meowing at us until we took her out of the cage and played with her. Then we knew she had chosen us. Affie is a very sweet cat. She loves the people that she knows, but if a "stranger" enters the house she cowers and runs away from them.
Afton is very tolerant with little kids, but tries to avoid them. She sometimes tries to hunt our male rabbit named Louie when he's out of his cage. Louie doesn't seem to mind it because the second he turns around and looks at the cat, she runs away from him. Afton is a very courageous cat, but is also very jumpy - especially around Louie!
Afton's favorite place in the whole house is, not under the bed like most cats, but on the bathroom sink/counter. She loves to sit there and watch as people go by. Every now and then when we go by, she meows to ask us to turn on the water. Afton is the most sweetest cat in the world.
