This is our cat Scooter. In this picture, he's about four months old, and he is leaping from the loveseat to the couch (it's a gap of about four feet). We got Scooter from the Humane Society when he was approximately three months old (they didn't know his exact birthdate). He came to the shelter too little for adoption, and he had to go to foster care to gain weight and grow up a little. He now lives here with his litle sister, Squeak.
Scooter is not very vocal, he only meows if he wants something. He is a very active boy; he has just learned how to jump on the counters, and he loves to chase Squeak through the house. He always looks out for his sister, though. One time Scooter was sleeping on the bed, and Squeak came into the room squeaking (hence her name). He jumped up and ran to her to make sure she was ok. He plays with anything, and he is into everything. He loves to lay in the bathroom sink, and is currently trying to figure out how to turn the water on.
He is also a lover: he loves to nuzzle with me and have his face (especially his whiskers) rubbed. Most cats don't even like their whiskers touched, but not Scooter! He also likes to knead his paws on my arm in bed. I think he is going to be a big cat, because he has more than doubled his weight in the two and a half months we've had him (he weighs alost seven pounds now). Scooter is a very sweet kitten, and we love him very much. We're very happy we got him, although he wears us out with all his energy!
