Mickee is a very animated cat for his young age. As you can see from these two pictures, he loves to jump and loves to play. He watches baseball on TV (especially the Tampa Bay Rays)! He is a joy to be around and loves any food, wet or dry if it has turkey in it.
When I first saw Mickee he was in a cage at our local PetsMart who helps sponsor adoptions. He was so little and so cute we couldn't resist him. He came home to 3 feline siblings and a canine sibling. He immediately took over the house as the other felt he was weak in some way, and boy did he show him. He is almost a year now and he still loves to watch TV, bask in the Florida sunshine and play with his toys from his toy box. He really has a set of ears on him because he can be on the other end of the house and when the computer printer starts up he comes running. He loves to watch the paper go into the machine and then tries to help to get it out, which sometimes makes for a very clawed looking copy!
Mickee loves to play fetch. He will fly through the air to try to get it, will retrieve it and then bring it back to within two feet of you. Of course, the human has to go the extra two feet each time! He also has a thing about laying under the shower curtain in the bathroom (hiding so he thinks). When unsuspecting people walk by he jumps out and scares them, its a hoot.
We have never gotten over the fact that Mickee doesn't meow, he makes noises that almost humanlike to get his point across.
He is a mover and shaker most of the day due to his young age, but has managed to awaken the youth of the older felines, too.
