On a dark, rainy day we found a silver lining in the form of a kitten only a couple of days old. Left behind as he was the runt of the litter, he sought shelter beneath the broad leaves of our vegetable plants in our backyard. This runt with a big spirit, who we named Tomboy, has since brought an abundance of silver linings throughout the years.
Unfortunately our Tomboy has recently been plagued with cancer, but he still remains the brightest part of our home. Everything about Tomboy makes him special, from his early morning wake up calls to the upwards tilt in his chin when he wants a kiss.
We hope and pray that in his time of need we can provide him with as many silver linings, as he did and still does.
