This is our cat, Jasper (Jazzy for short). She is a very special cat. She is seventeen years old and rules our home in Pennsylvania that she shares with her adopted sister Brody. We adopted her from our local animal shelter, she was part of a litter born to a stray mom. We took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with a brain infection , eye infection, liver infection and upper respiratory infection (which she recovered from but was left with brain and nerve damage but she doesn't know it). She is at my side constantly and loves to be carried like a baby and the only way she will sleep is if I wrap my arms around her like a teddy bear. She has such a unique personality and her antics are nonstop.
She is the one in the back in the photo. She is not our first rescue, we have had many. Our son picked her out, she was the runt and very friendly. Her antics? She tries to pull plugs out of outlets with her teeth and gets zapped, she crawls in the opening in the back of the couch and gets stuck, and waddles when she walks.
We just love her so much and can't imagine our life without her!
