Elvis, the bigger of the three cats my wife and I reside with (I have to say reside with, as I simply cannot say own ... after all, how can one own another living creature?---the answer is: one can't own another living creature). Elvis is a very affectionate cat. He loves to cuddle with my wife and I, especially my wife. In fact, I'm beginning to think that Elvis is convinced that my wife is his wife. Elvis has a brother from the same litter, Ash, who is the shy and reserved one, who hides under the living room couch as soon as someone he's not entirely familiar with walks through the door of our apartment, but Elvis is very attached to him nonetheless, even though they are complete opposites. He also has a new adoptive brother, a black kitten named Sid.
My wife and I are definitely cat people, so to speak. And, if the right situation presented itself, we would probably take on a fourth feline companion to add to the household. Until then, we have three awesome, beautiful cats with huge personalities, who we love as though they were our own children.
