My cat's name is Mimir, named after the God of War character, he's four months old, he is a Lynx Point Siamese. I've been obsessed with cats for a while now, and so has my family, so when the opportunity appeared we adopted one, we were immediately in love with him.
He was really calm and loved cuddles, but since the beginning something felt wrong about Mimir, he was constantly scratching himself and was too sleepy and calm for a three-month-old (at the time) cat. We took him to the vet, and I'm so glad we did.
There was in fact something wrong with him, he was diagnosed with Feline Panleukopenia, which was shocking for us, because we had bonded so much with him in just a few weeks. We couldn't believe he had such a serious disease. He was kept in a hospital for two weeks and after a lot of suffering, and veterinary attention, he came back better than ever. He is now a healthy, mischievous and curious kitten that loves to play. I think what makes him special is that he battled through a lot of suffering and still made it, also that he is mine, hee hee. I love him with all my heart.
