We
got Molly when she was just a kitten from my uncles farm. She was a very
good escape artist when she was young and wild, but she never did get very
far and always seemed to want to come home. I was two when she was brought home
and sixteen years later she is still here. She has been given quite a few
nicknames over the years but one that seems to suit her the most is Chubs.
She will never turn down some treats and will usually talk to you until you
go get her some. Now that she is in her senior years, she is starting to just
stay in the basement on her blanket and nap all day and night.
She is still very bossy when it comes to getting meals and water and will let
you knew when she is out of either. She will sometimes make the climb
upstairs to look out and maybe take a wander outside and soak up some sun
rays and munch on some grass. These past sixteen years that she has been in the my
family's life are ones we will never forget, she has gotten us though some
tough times and we hope she will be around for a few more years. We love our
Chubs and hope you all do as well.
