Oscar
Barry Standley is our one-year-old boy, and he's either Russian Blue or
Korat. What makes Oscar special is he was rescued from a crowding situation
and taken away from his mother, sister and two brothers. We adopted him ten
months ago and he has been a beautiful and funny addition to our family. We
rescued Sailor, a Russian Blue domestic short hair mix four months later, and
he and Oscar became firm pals.
Oscar is cute, adorable, loves to walk outside on his leash and chase bugs,
leaves, and likes to climb trees. Inside he sleeps in cupboards and drawers,
opens door handles, talks and chatters all day. He climbs his catio like a
monkey, and alternatively licks Sailor, then clobbers him and runs away. They
cuddle up for sleeps together in winter. It is heart-warming to see.
