Charis was found younger than 6 weeks old abandoned on the side of the road with her brother. She was cold, wet, and nearly starving. Her brother passed away from a serious worm infestation, but Charis made it through after extensive de-worming, and love and care. I kept her warm and fed for some time until she became healthy, and in that time frame I fell in love with her and just had to make her my own!
Charis is a one-of-a-kind kitten and I could not be happier, especially since my other cat disappeared many years ago. She and I have been through a lot in our lifetimes and she proves to be my very best friend! She keeps my depression at bay and lowers my stress levels with her harmonic purrs. She loves to sleep in the bed with me and keep me warm at night too! She sometimes wakes me up in the morning trying to suckle on me (as she was separated from her mother at too young an age, she has a habit of suckling on fingers, ears, and toes!) but she is too cute to get angry at. Charis is the sweetest little baby ever and I am lucky to have her!
