Gus Gus was adopted by me the day after Christmas one year. He has
the loudest purr and squeaks when he meows. He loves to cuddle and sleep
in my pillow and he is 38lbs of love. He often insists on "helping" me
read, but trying to read through a cat head and shoulders is not
terribly effective. He barely fits in the kitty box and he is the
happiest cat I have ever had.
The vet did give us some tips on how to
get him to lose weight that we are trying, but also said since he is
older, just let him be happy and don't overfeed him. He does not do any
tricks that I am aware of, but his favorite activity honestly is curling
up on my favorite cat blanket and watch a movie on my lap and getting
scratchings. I also just bought him a harness and leash to go on walks
this week, which will take some training. Hopefully he will learn to
enjoy that as well, as exercise is always a good idea.
