Daphne
is very affectionate "when it suits her" and when she wants attention,
she demands it - she's quite the diva! She'll stand on her hind legs for her
treats, just like a dog! She is not an outdoor cat, but from springtime to
autumn, she meows at the front door for the opportunity to simply step
outside and sit on the front patio, and to lie down on the sun-warmed stones
- just for a few minutes - then it's back inside to the comforts of home! She
loves her little handmade catnip pillows we pick up for her at the vet, and
sleeps on special catnip mats, made for her by "Grandma."
Daphne is a shaded silver torte, and a diva! She has an extensive vocabulary,
and she communicates effectively with her varied sounds. Her feline housemate
doesn't meow, so she makes up for it by speaking for both of them! She is a
very young eleven years old, continuing to be energetic and playful. Daphne is
feisty and demonstrative, and I love her very much.
