I've never had a sweeter cat than Aja ... sadly she passed away on June 30th, 2015, and we all miss her dearly. I also have Aja's son, Kaibert, a sweetie just like his Momma and even more of a snuggler. When I adopted Aja she was two years old and Kai was one but he was still nursing because they had no home and she obviously realized he needed nourishment.
Aja had a very inquisitive personality - she was always checking into things such as open cupboards or flushing toilets. She loved a good sprinkle of cat nip now and then, it got her rollin' all over the place. Aja was both affectionate and independent, it was all up to her, but I would say she leaned more towards being an independent soul. I think there are two things I will remember most about Aja: one was how flippin' fast she could run up the stairs, even though she was a little on the tubby side she was like a bullet, passing me, the dog and the other cats. I would always tell her that she was the winner. And second was how much she loved to "kill" my socks. She'd go hunt one down, do some really deep growling and then bring it to the living room ... sometimes I'd get home from work and there would be a dozen "dead" socks scattered in the hallway, I miss that.
