Heidi Klum is a beauty for sure, but she's kind of a shrew; cold and aloof and no fan of mine. She was a feral I grabbed along with her brother, Ferguson, but I didn't get her young enough to get friendly. The shelter won't take cats or kittens unless they are socialized. Anyway, I can pet her if I sneak up while she's sleeping, but the look on her face when I stroke her is priceless. I find it amusing that after so many years, she still looks to escape when I sneak up on her to get in some strokes of her gorgeous fur. She looks at me as if I'm torturing her. It hurts my feelings a bit, but what can I do.
I have other cats, most all of whom want attention and to be petted, and when I am able to sneak up on her sleeping, I stroke her very lovingly and gently. Yet she still stares at me wide-eyed as if she can't wait to escape. That to me is funny. Especially after over six years of being together day in and out. But maybe just change it to.
I picture the human Heidi Klum as tough and aloof, her German heritage. Thus my Heidi K and her name. Whatever the case may be, it does not matter, she has a forever home here.
