This is my cat, she is an older lady named Maôu. She is not my first cat, before I had Siamese, but the last one had left me such sad memories in the last two years of his life, that I had not had a cat for more than ten years.
Maôu is a Chartreuse cat, or almost anyway, given by a friend who had to go to live in the island of Reunion for professional reasons. She had already recovered from her being abandoned in the underground car park of her building when she was already an adult, so we do not know her exact age - twelve years, or more? She is not telling.
Chartreuse is a very different breed from Siamese, fortunately much calmer. She is rather talkative, though, while the Wikipedia card onthem says that they talk very little. She is not very playful, perhaps because of her age? But I still manage to get her active, as you can witness in her video. I love her, she is most special because she is mine.
