Brandy is my British Domestic Shorthair, and his coloring is a typical tabby, but he has secret bengal markings on his tummy which he of course refuses to display for the camera. Brandy is specail because he is one of the most affectionate and loving cats anyone could ever have. He is also like the lamb from the nursery rhyme 'Mary had a Little Lamb', but in cat form! He will follow you around everywhere, and when you get home and are unlocking the door, he will scrape on the kitchen window to try and get to you and give you a cuddle.
He is very loving, although very inquisitive. Like the other day, when I was about to go in the bath, he somehow managed to open the door to the bathroom, and, before I knew it, I heard this big splash, and saw Brandy trying to climb out the bath, but failing, as he had soaking wet paws. I had to dry him with a warm cosy towel from the airing cupboard. I think that will be his last adventure for a little while, although back in 2011, when he was still quite young, he did manage to climb to the top of a tall tree whilst running away from a Jack Russell dog, and wouldn't come down!
He loves his food, especially biscuits, and will make friends with any animal that comes into the neighborhood, but that does exclude birds; he has them for his second dinner. He also really likes his toys, and his favourite is one that we call 'Mousie'. He runs around the house playing with him as though his tail's on fire! Although once or twice we have had to rescue it from under the freezer; we found him peering under it looking at it expectantly to come out. We all love Brandy!
