Hello, I would like to introduce you to my little fur ball Fonz, (a.k.a. Fonzie). He is a long hair tabby and approximately seven years old, and we live in Montréal, Québec.
Fonz came into my life shortly after I moved to Verdun, Quebec where I discovered a large community of alley cats. On any given day, there could be up to ten cats on or around my second floor balcony. Fonz was one of these cats. He came in through my kitchen door, which had been left open due to the sweltering Montreal summer, and just jumped up and plopped himself down onto one of the kitchen chairs. He let himself be petted and just basically stayed there. As a friend says, he adopted me. When I moved to another neighborhood, I took him with me.
His name was originally Fuzzy, because of that long, frizzy coat of his, but I as got to know his personality more and more every day, he eventually became Fonz. And just like his namesake he is a mellow, chill cat who has his way with the ladies, both feline and human. In fact, he doesn't quite know that he has been sterilized.
Fonz is an outdoor adventurer that loves to jump fences to get to the other yards and is a champion bug catcher . If he is not jumping outside, he is inside sleeping. If he is neither, then he has probably charmed his way into someone else's home and is being petted and fed. Should I mention he has a bit of a weight problem?
He is my little love bug!
