This is Sebastian, or Seby, as my brother calls him. We got him from an animal shelter in Newton Iowa as a kitten. When he was a baby we called him The Ooze because he would fall asleep so hard that he would literally ooze all over and slide down our arms or the side of the couch.
When he was around one or two years old my little brother taught him how to play fetch with a squishy ball. There are a lot of the same kind of squishy ball but he only likes the blue one. When his ball finally dies it takes him weeks to choose a new favorite and then that is the only toy in the whole house he will play with. He doesn't like it when his kitty adopted brothers and sister try to take his toy, and he will go up to my brother and tell on them until my brother gets his toy back again.
He is now an anxiety therapy kitty for my brother and is bonded to him. Seby loves all of us but he loves my brother the very most. My mom and step dad make jokes that my little brother can't move out of the home because Seby would miss him way too much. Seby is now about 5 or 6 years old and we don't know what breed he is but he loves to talk and chirp at us all day long and play fetch with his ball. He also loves the little bean bag chair my step dad gave to him and we put it in the sunny spot on the cat tower we made for them so that he can chirp at birds and sleep in the sun.
Here are his pictures that I took of him. It was the first pictures I took of a cat with a real camera and he was a little surprised when I caught him sleeping. Oh and we still live in Iowa now, but when we lived in Florida he learned how to play checkers from my brother. It was really funny.
My name is Cole, and this is our cat Seby (pronounced "see bee").
