I have a wonderful Sassy cat! She is a 12-year-old black and white domestic short haired tuxedo girl. She is my first tuxedo cat I have ever owned. She was one of four kittens who were left orphaned and were fostered by some very special foster parents. I give a ton of credit and kudos to hose special folks who foster animals for the short duration until they get adopted. I was one of the lucky ones who rescued one of these adorable kittens as a birthday gift for my son from the Animal Rescue League in Brewster. We fell in love with her, took her home and from day one, Sassy stole our hearts with her amazing personality and antics.
She is quite the character and is also unbelievably loving and affectionate. She is extremely sweet and is my little love bug. She is my shadow who follows me around wherever I go or sits on my lap when I sit down in my chair or she is in my bed at night curled up next to me or occasionally on my face! Either way, I've never met a cat that gives me more joy and happiness than Sassy! Her special "trick" is when she climbs on the back of my chair and hugs me! She is so stinkin cute! She rescued ME and has brightened my every day with her presence. So that's why I feel she should be honored!
