John came to me when his owners had to re-home him because of allergies. They were VERY sad to see him go, having rescued him as a kitten. I got him for my mother, who was really missing having a cat. She named him John. They had lots of fun together, she would ask him if he wanted to go for a ride and he would hop on her walker and ride for as long as she kept pushing! Sadly, he grew too big and strong to stay with her. There was a danger he would knock her down. So he came our house! He is lots of fun and so beautiful to look at.
He plays with his older brother Brian, a Domestic Longhair ginger, and watches birds out the window. He loves to be brushed, and demands it every morning. He does NOT like to be held, but will come for scritches when he's in the mood. He weighs 21 pounds, so when he gets the "zoomies" he rearranges the furniture and rugs. He loves running on his cat exercise wheel, especially in the middle of the night! We love our blue-eyed boy.
