Meet
Franklin! Franklin is quite the debonair character. As you can see, his
favorite pastime is laying "belly up" and taking naps. Franklin is five years
old and we adopted him a little over a year ago. I had just lost my two
Persian cats, one from old age and one from polycystic kidney disease.
Franklin's arrival into our home was very timely. I fell in love with his
beautiful big green eyes the moment I saw him. He is a silver shaded
"doll-face" Persian. Franklin has a sister, Butterscotch. He wasn't crazy
about her at first but now they are good friends.
Franklin's hobbies include sleeping, bird watching, hanging out on his
favorite barstool, begging for food and laying under your feet and
encouraging you to notice him by laying belly up. He loves to be packed
around and doted on. However, he doesn't like it if you sit down with him.
He's not a lap cat! He has his very own little quirks and habits that keep us
smiling. Franklin is a big, laid back lump of fur, and I love him so much.
