We
got Sam and his brother Neko around the time our first cat, Selena, had
passed away, he was around fourteen years old. Having Sam helped with the pain and
loneliness that came after. A couple years ago we almost lost Sam as well, he
got an infection in his urinary tract. He couldn't use the bathroom and his
stomach was almost as hard as a rock. It was very late in the night when we
discovered that, and rushed him to the vet. Luckily we got there in time and
they were able to treat him. He now has a special cat food he has to eat for
the rest of his life but at least he is doing fine now.
Sam is great. He's my little fluff ball and he happily naps on my lap, which
is so sweet! He also enjoys hunting mice and keeps our house mouse-free with
his brother.
