When my family and I first moved to Fredericksburg we had rented a house. One day we found my sister holding a cute cat. The cat was the pet of the people who owned the house we live in. They asked us if we wanted it and we immediately said yes!
The owner told my family that when she was on her way home in the rain, she found a poor baby cat in the middle of nowhere near a box! She felt so sad. She tried to find her owner, but no one accepted her! So finally she took her home! But it didn’t quite work out, She had two dogs and they didn’t like her at all! She would always see the kitten in her room scared, so she knew tshe needed a new home. That’s when she heard us saying that we wanted a cat. The previous owner had not named her yet, so my oldest brother said Milkshakes., and that stuck.
Milkshakes likes to be inside and does not like showers! She even hates getting her paws wet! Maybe she remembers that rainy day when she was found, we do not know. She sleeps in my brother's room. She likes to meow a lot and loves to sit with you. She gets very jealous of our other cat named Coca. But we are still trying to figure that out! We are glad she is with us, as she no longer has to hide and be scared. We love her!
