This is our lovely cat, Bronx. We got him about a eleven years ago from a shelter close to our home. As soon as I saw Bronx, I knew he was the cat for me, he was affectionate right from the start with my partner and I and he loves nothing more than to lay on our outstretched legs like a monorail car, purring up a storm.
Bronx is quite the Top Cat. At night, he runs up and down our quiet, suburban street with the rest of his "cat posse" behind him. He has always been unamused by cat toys, but I recently discovered that he loves chasing and attacking a piece of ribbon. We think he may be a little simple! When he is in a playful mood he loves to nibble on our hands and feet.
Bronx loves food. All food, any food. He particularly loves chicken. Lately, he is in the habit of meowing in a pathetically cute manner whenever somebody is in the kitchen until he is given a treat. I know we shouldn't indulge him, but he is too adorable to resist! When he is all tired out, Bronx loves to take a nap on the bottom shelf of our bookcase ... I guess I won't be buying any more books!
My partner and I love Bronx to bits and we think we are very lucky to have such a loving, happy and handsome cat :)
